Pulau Tioman has a great range of hotels, mostly of the budget variety, nestled in every village around the island. Chalet accommodation is the most popular choice among visitors, but there are several luxury boutique resorts with their own private beachfront that cost from MYR200 onwards.
Midrange budget resorts offer some upscale rooms in addition to budget dorms and chalets, with a price range between MYR80 and 200 per night. Air-conditioning, hot showers and complimentary breakfast are standard with such rates. The very basic hotels provide fans, cold showers and minimal furnishings, with rates starting from MYR30 per night.
